Halloween

Let me start off by saying sorry my loves for neglecting you all but I haven't been able to grab hold to a cpu ..... but on to the blog





So I have been having so much trouble on deciding on what I am going to be for Halloween this year so I maybe leaning on the side of a Barbie but I haven't decided yet so let me kno your suggestions and I'll be posting pctures of my potential costumes later on so leave comments loves and let me know what you think








I know this is a little old school but I most definetly can spice it up and make it look modern but this was the only decent picture of the African American Barbie line.

Good for the Grain

Well as most of you know I'm trying to influence the beauty blogger world into going green/ organic now I must admit I am not doing the best of the best job but I am working on it lol

I first started with my diet which was putting myself on a very strike diet

No fried foods

NO beef

No pork

No sodas and cutting my eating down which means I have to portion my food

So far I have lost about 7lbs. in the last month

Some of the foods that I have been eating that are more on the organic side are products from the Kashi food brand and Natural Valley foods.

This is the best cereal from the band to me ... it kind of reminds me of the cereal smacks! just with almonds its really good 2thumbs up

These granola bars are actually pretty good

So this is how my day goes

Breakfast I eat either oatmeal or the Kashi cereal

If I get hungry before lunch {which most of the time I do} I eat a Natural Valley granola bar or some apple sauce

For Lunch most of the time I am limited to food at work {waffle house} so I eat a grilled cheese sandwich on wheat bread or a chicken sandwich on wheat bread with some steamed hash browns

For dinner I eat grilled chicken with some type of vegetable and pasta and if I am short for time I cook on top of the stove I saute it in some olive oil with some lemon pepper seasoning or something like that it doesn't sound good but its really great

Now I must admit I don't do this everyday! I cheat because I get tempted but for the most part I am sticking to it

But food isn't the only good part to a diet you also have to work out

At night before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning I do a set of 50 crunches

when I come home from work I do a workout dvd or go run around my neighborhood

I encourage all my fellow beauty bloggers to try this is out it may do your body good

Lavender Soap

As you all know that I am so into going green and being organic and what not so anyways my friend brought me some LAVENDER SOAP and I almost immediately fell in love with the soap

The only dislike that I had about the soap is that it leaves your skin kinda waxy like but that is because it has your pores so tight and peels away your dead skin

So I browsed along and found a recipe to make our own lavendar soap

Easy Lavender Soap
10 tablespoons finely grated castille soap 8 tablespoons boiling water 2 tablespoons crushed dried lavender flowers 4 drops lavender oil
Melt the soap in the water in a bowl placed over a saucepan of hot water, stirring frequently, until smooth.
Crush the flowers to a powder and take the bowl off the saucepan. Stir the flowers into the soap with oil.
Store in a glass or plastic bottle

This is my skin before using the LAVENDER soap (OILY)

*What I did was before I cleasned my face with the soap I wipe my face with a warm damp towel and usually use a white wash cloth because I like to see my work and results

*I lather the soap on the rag and cleanse my face

*Let it sit on my face for a little while

*And rinse my face with cold water so that my pores can close

This is the effect after the use of the soap

To me I can see a difference instantly

Afterwards I just moisturize with baby lotion to look in the moisture and keep my pores tight and closed so that any grease or what not collect in my face

Gossip Freak

Ok so I've been following this story about Lady Gaga being trans-gendered {wow} ... and So she has confirmed that indeed she has male and female genitalia which is really a big surprise to me lol ... but hey these types of things happen but anywho after reading the comments of the latest story I read on the rundown ... http://www.therundown.tv/headlines/say-what/lady-gaga-admits-that-shes-a-lady-and-a-man-and-shes-not-ashamed-of-it/ ... I was really surprised to peoples response ... some were aww grossed out by it but most were supportive so to speak and were all like its her business and she can't help certain things espcecially something like that ... Today's society is so different from "back in the day" lol my parents still have issues with homosexuality .... but in the back of my head ii tend to wonder is our acceptance ok?

MY 21st BDAY!

My 21st birthday was August 3rd .... lmbo ... but ii started celebrating the Friday before because my fiance came in from TEXAS bay bay ... along with 4 of his friends to help me celebrate the right way .... it started with a night of fun and shopping lol ... went to a local mall and got a few things to wear out since I'm a house bum lol ... It was tax free weekend so I was all happy about not having to pay to much for stuff for my bday

This dress was really hot I didn't get to wear because me being the weirdo I wanted to make up my outfit

This isn't the first skirt I had my eye on but the my first choice was the last in the store and they didn't want to take it off the dummy for me I was so upset but I got over it

SO yea I didn't wear the skirt as a skirt I made it into a dress ... everyone thought I bought it as one I loved it my shoes you can't see in any of my pictures but I had some black Jessica Simpson heels they are so the bomb they were like 6 inches ... so after getting dressed we took shots of P.diddy's alcohol .... Ciroc ... me personally I'm a patron kind of girl that's why I have the tattoo lol .... but I tried its not horrible but it's not my cup of tea ... the bottle is nice though

So the night didn't start out to great ... the lines were to damn long at the clubs ... but I guess that was because we left s damn late ... but eventually we found a club it wasn't that bad

So the next morning they wanted waffle house which you all know I work there so I was not having that .... the shopping continued ... nothing big happened the next day Sunday my fiance's friends left and we spent the day together ....

MONDAY! was my official birthday .... the beginning of the day started with a million and one phone calls ( Thank you all!) ... next was stone mountain park ... for some good bar -b- que ... and might I add it was yummy

Later we went to Benihana's .... its a Japanese Hibachi restaurant ... and it was soooooooo good

I was being such a dork like a little kid who hasn't had much lol

But all in all I had fun and enjoyed my weekend and birthday

This tasted like the juice from the green beans have a very unique taste

There was another girl there who's bday was the same day and she gave me a piece of her cookie cake and John ate it all I got like a lil small piece
